The Filtered water is delivered through a separate internal line to avoid mixing with unfiltered water - therefore eliminating risk of recontamination. The Fortress features an incredibly robust housing and uses a carbon block filter which means there is 40x less plastic use per cartridge change than with a conventional single use filter. It comes with everything you need for a quick and easy installation, including your filter cartridge that will last approximately 6 months.
