Linn LP-12 top plate, Upgrade Vinyl Passion Orpheus Brushed Stainless finish

Please note that the Orpheus will sit 0.25mm higher than a Standard Linn plinth - This is barely noticeable visually and if you run y. Our finger around the fitted plate you can just feel a very very slight edge.

Please inspect our pictures for how this plate will fit into your plinth once fastened down. The Kit includes all new stainless steel fasteners for the top plate including fixing hardware, top plate screws, suspension bolts and washers, including the latest motor corner bolt & also new motor adjustment bolts.. All fasteners are made from the highest quality stainless steel.. What you see in he pictures is what you will receive with the exception of the the picture of the Orpheus top plate fitted into the Vinyl Passion Master Craftsman plinth this is simply to show the quality of the fit into what are the finest quality LP-12 plinths available at a sensible price and also available from our E Bay shop.

You will also receive a pair of cotton assembly gloves to prevent marking your top plate while fitting. Fitting an LP-12 top plate correctly is highly skilled work.. Your new Vinyl Passion Orpheus top plate is of the highest quality and has a delicate brushed Steel surface to match the original Linn finish. In your kit you will also find a pair of cotton assembly gloves to keep the finish pristine while assembling. Your top plate is pre formed with a slight curve to ensure perfect fitting first time providing your plinth is square. Please note that the corner motor bolt Nylock should be just tight enough to prevent the washer being turned by hand - if this bolt is over tightened you will deform the top plate.

For best results the Flange nuts correct torque should be 8-10 Nm the top plate stainless wood screws should be 1.5Nm. The flange nuts should be used to tighten the bolts to your top plate and the Nylocks to hold it in place on the plinth and to adjust the suspension.

After fitting of your top plate you should perform a tap test around the edge of the plate with your gloves on to prevent finger marks their should be no rattles and if your plinth is square and plate fitted correctly and not over tightened it will provide a perfect fit first time.
