Omega Genève Chronostop 1968/1969 Excellent Original Condition

This Omega Genève Chronostop is a nice original example of a watch that has become very well respected and admired over the past few years. The stainless steel case of this watch is in excellent condition and the original dial and handset are also superb.

The stainless steel bracelet has virtually no wear and considering that it's 50 years old, it's amazing that it's as good as it is. When it was first launched, the Genève Chronostop was a highly accurate, high-beat, high-quality movement, somewhat similar to the 321 in the Speedmaster. While most chronographs record seconds, minutes, and hours with multiple subdials, the Chronostop was designed to be used for short interval timing. It has one central hand to record seconds over periods of less than a minute, controlled by a single pusher. Just tested by Omega certified watch specialists Michlmayr & Co.
